True Fulfillment as a Woman

Various different articles, studies, and research has shown us how to find happiness as women. A myth has been being perpetuated that women need to have a successful career in order to find meaning and happiness. Working at home helping your husband will bring greater joy, peace, and happiness for everyone.

1. Women abandoning home and children has created guilt on an epidemic scale.

2. Women now struggle with decreased overall happiness.

3. Mothers are more strained and exhausted.

4. Women are chasing an elusive happiness in a hamster wheel.

5. “They are to teach what is good…working at home.” Titus 2:4-5 God knows what we need; that is where we find happiness.

Psychological Effects on Women in Military

This is an article that was sent in by one of my readers who wishes to remain anonymous.

This was done because of a previous article I wrote about this subject on oppression.

I remember from my earliest memories my wonderful mother curling my
hair and picking out these princess-like dresses for me to wear for
school….I would have rather been outside playing with my brother and
cousin in military fatigues with my face painted green, black, and
brown. I shook my fist at being girly and feminine. My childhood dream
was to join the military. I loved the environment (or my imagination
of that environment).

I ended up joining the military. Taking an oath to protect and obey
orders. I began my year long training by going to basic training. I
was given uniforms….oh wait, the man behind me got the same ones.
There were three different articles of clothing in the main uniform
that were different. I wore sports bras–the men did not. I wore
granny panties–the men wore briefs. I wore women’s running shoes–the
men wore theirs. Besides my haircut and buttocks, you couldn’t tell
which gender I was. I wore the same uniform, exercised the same way,
and was treated the same as the men in the unit. I did this for months
while in training. No civilian clothes. No differentiation besides
menstrual cycles and different sleeping quarters. I couldn’t stand it.
I couldn’t wait until I could put dress on….to feel beautiful….to
not look and expected to act like a man.

The day came where I could leave the fort and go into town and buy
civilian clothes. I headed straight to the dress section. I bought a
beautiful outfit and had one of my friends fix my hair (because I
didn’t know how to do anything besides a pony tail, bun, or leaving it
down). I got earrings and a necklace and even put some perfume on. I
look in the mirror—A sigh of relief– I feel like a woman again. I
never knew the importance of how we dress, look, and act. I am a woman
and need to dress, look, and act like one. Men are men and need to
dress, look, and act like one. You don’t think it matters?

If you don’t think it matters please respond with your experiences relating to the consequences of women being masculine and/or men being feminine.

War On Women: Old White Men

Why are men fighting for abortion harder then women?! I think we need to think about this….

Sifting Reality

How often is the pro-life movement maligned as a War on Women waged by old white men? If I had a dime…

But that’s politics. More often than not, truth takes a backseat to emotion and the ever-increasing urge to rile up the base. It’s a useful tool. And lately, destructive ideas need only a passionate, uneducated coalition to get the ball rolling.

To be consistent, though, I decided to check it out. Is the pro-life position merely an attack on women by old white men? I found a Pew Research Poll taken earlier this year. Here’s the breakdown.

Question: Is abortion Morally Wrong, Morally Acceptable, or Not a Moral Issue?

Morally Wrong: 45%

Morally Acceptable: 15%

Not a Moral Issue: 23%

Keypoints

  • 48% of men say abortion is Morally Wrong.
  • 50% of women say abortion is Morally Wrong.
  • 18% of men say abortion is Morally Acceptable.
  • 13% of women…

The Violence Against Men

The Violence Against Men

For any of my readers who believe that violence is a ‘gender’ problem for women….

This is a 2002 Department of Justice Statistic, follow the address that you see in the picture and do the research yourself, the media and the feminists are telling you lies.

7 (8) Reasons Why Women Should not be Cops

1. NOT a Woman’s Spiritual make-up: Peter 3:3–4 which urges women to cultivate a “gentle and quiet spirit.” Being a cop is NOT cultivating this. God did not create women to be the aggressive, assertive, dominant sex, and yet, that is precisely what the feminists want and the police force needs.

2. NOT a Woman’s Physical make-up: Clearly God did not design women, as a whole and in general, with this purpose in mind, clearly it was a role that God gave men, so why are women taking it from them? Why are women going against God’s obvious intent? If it is wrong for a man to hit a woman because he is stronger, then what about a woman who is a cop?

3. Image: In Song of Solomon, we see it is the woman’s job is to bare the image of a flower, of beauty and fragility. “I am a rose of Sharon, a lily of the valleys.” Song 2:1. Impossible to do as a Navy Seal or a soldier. A woman should represent womanhood IN the home AND outside the home. This cannot be done in the inherently masculine role of a cop, or, like my previous post talked about, as G. I. Jane.

4. Setting bad example: If it is not something you want your children to emulate, then why are you doing it? A woman as a cop or even a soldier can lead to confusion, and gender confusion leads to homosexuality. The number of lesbians in the military and especially the police force, are incredibly high. There is a correlation that many men in the military have picked up on. Your are leading others kids astray, causing them to stumble…

5. Scandalous: Furthering on the last note, I am afraid that a ‘Christian’ woman who is a cop, is creating a scandal. Because of the reputation of female cops as being lesbians is such a recognized truth among certain groups, it is pure scandal in the church of Christ. Eph. 5:3, “But sexual immorality and any impurity or greed should not even be heard of among you, as is proper for saints. (Italics mine).”

6. Usurping /stealing man’s intended purpose and role: God gave this role to men, so why are women taking it, as if they ‘have a right’ to it? This is not the natural order of things that God has set forth, and yet so many people instinctively  know this. God does not screw up, nor is He arbitrary; He designed men and women for a  purpose, and those purposes are NOT the same. A man’s role is to protect women, children, and society. Why do we have women who are not satisfied with their God given roles?

7. Pragmatic Reason: Men are not being men, to a very large degree, because women are not being women. You want your man to be a man? Then get out of his way and stop doing his job for him. Very, very, few men desire to have a wife who is a cop; it is shameful for a man if a woman is just as, or more so, of a man than he is. This is inherent in the way God made men and women. You want to increase your odds of getting married? Be a woman, not a man.

8. Cross-dressing is Wrong: It is a perversion, it’s ungodly. Society ‘accepts’ men and women who cross dress, but that does not mean the God who created them does. Our God is not a God of confusion so why do we have women who are dressing up in the manliest clothes they can possibly wear? Because they want to be masculine. This is wrong, unhealthy, and only creates confusion. Just because society applauds women wearing clothes that makes are inherently masculine, does not mean the church should.

This feminist culture has redefined what it means to be a woman, now the church needs to redefine it again, back to what it should be. Even little children know that a woman should not be a cop, let us humble ourselves and learn from  the ‘wisdom from the mouth of babes’.

Double standards for men and women: drunk sex and domestic violence

Interesting article that exposes a lot of things. I must yet disagree with the conclusions that author of this post came to. I hope to write more about it later. Also I want to encourage you to read the comments that people wrote on his post….

Sifting Reality

Not long ago TV counselor Dr. Phil asked a question via Twitter which was quickly deleted:

dr phil

When I first saw it I didn’t get the impression that he was implying it was OK to have sex with drunk girls (or that he was asking “for a friend”).  I had figured he was trying to gauge public opinion for a future show.  There are enough men out there, most likely on college campuses, who wouldn’t think it unethical to have sex with a girl who was drunk.  So in this regard his question has merit.

More than this, I also think there is a tendency to overlook that the majority of men who would have sex with a girl who is drunk is probably drunk himself.  This facet rarely makes its way into the discussion.  All to often when both the guy and the girl are at a party drinking it…
